Granite is heat-resistant; however, frequent exposure to extreme heat can weaken the sealer. It’s advisable to use trivets or hot pads.
Can granite crack?

Is granite scratch-resistant?
Granite is relatively scratch-resistant but not entirely scratch-proof. Avoid cutting directly on the surface and use cutting boards to prolong its beauty.
